Atleast I got to wait for many years before Lucas ruined the original Star Wars with terrible Family Guy parodeies. Potter fans are up a creek. That thing seems to go on forever, too.
It doesn’t sound you have ever cared for Harry Potter, so why bother commenting. As some have pointed out in previous posts, no one is pointing a gun at heads.
I have the whole book set in English and will be buying the books in Danish for my daughter when she turns eight. And not to forget the Blue-ray set. The E-books? No, not for now…
ULTIMATELY, it is my choice and money. I choose to invest in a good story.
Hmmmmm…. just read all these posts. I find it interesting to see all these people complaining that someone is making money for thier talent (work). So, what I think is that all these people complaining should go in to thier employers tomorrow and tell them that because they (thier employers) have been so good with paying them, and because they have been accepting this money for so long that for the next month they will work for free. Just to show thier boss’ how grateful they are for the money they have made from them for thier work.
How does that sound?

I love my Kindle and from an 3-book perspective could ask for no better news than Harry Potter becoming an e-book. I gladly paid for the hardback versions and will gladly pay for the e-book versions. Similary to when I bought CD versions of albums that I had previously owned on vinyl or DVDs of previously owned VHS tapes. I will gladly pay for these books and am excited to think of being able to carry the whole series with me whereever I go. Not sure why people are upset with her making money……is everyone equally upset thatJohnny Depp takes money for every movie he makes when he clearly has all he needs………….I miss the days when EW.com had a smaller but more thoughtful audience.
This has nothing to do with money. It has to do with JKR not being able to let go of the world she created.
This is mainly for the fans who won’t let go!

I was hoping for new content, but I’ll be happy with e-books. The PDF copies I’ve been reading are really poorly formatted. And yes, I own the full set of hardcovers, but they aren’t very portable.
This is a stupid way of her to make more money off her beloved books. J.k Harry Potter should be books and movies nothing else.

Why are you all fighting over where the profits are going?? It is time to thank J.K. Rowling.. She has given me something to read.I was terrible until I started reading her books and then my grades went up. I’m soo glad she is giving more. I thought it was all over. Why are some of you hateing her?? Look at what she gas done for you!!
