It won’t strictly be a celebrity memoir in the traditional sense, but rather a collection of “non-fiction short stories.” Most will be focused around her first 17 years — which, fortunately, don’t resemble those of Carrie — and while her father wasn’t a coal miner, her upbringing was decidedly rural. “You can pick it up just anywhere,” Spacek told USA Today, “and read a story about some part of my life with images and photographs and artwork and things that I have done and collected and mean something to me.” Hyperion will publish Barefoot Stories in the spring of 2012.

I love her! I try to watch all her mevies…’Ragedy Man’ is one of my favorites. She’s an amazing actress. I’m looking forward to her memoirs!!!
