Megan Fox's poetic new tattoo: Does anyone know the source?

Celebrity tattoos can be meaningful (Angelina Jolie’s veritable UNESCO of cultural runes), amusing (Johnny Depp’s palimpsestic “Wino Forever”), and unfortunate (everything Steve-O has ever done Read the full post.

If a tree fell over in the forest and fell on Megan Fox, would it make a noise?

    Mr. Deeds wrote it.

I think this is empirical proof that we still need print books and libraries.

A source I am looking at right now attributes this saying to “A Sufi scholar,” but that’s also dubious at best. Often proverbs and maxims have no definite speaker of origin, or said origin has been lost in the mists of time.

But, never fear. I won’t be able to stop thinking about this, that’s for certain. Professional hazard.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.

I don’t think this tattoo just has a meaning to dancers, for me personally it’s about loving life and seeing the good in things… And if others don’t look at life through those “pink glasses”, they can’t understand the joy.
Those who care little about what other people think about them, seem “crazy” and careless to them (even though I think they are just free), but those caring only about prestige don’t see what life can give you if you go all in and give that “music” a chance.

I googled this, cause I was thinking about getting it as a tattoo. Too bad it would totally seem like copying a celebrity now.
But she could have at least used the “right” quote by Nietzsche!
