If you don’t particularly care for Salinger, why are you writing his memoriam? He meant many things to many readers. Surely someone had something more to say than you. As one of America’s most prolific writers, for better or worse, please stop paraphrasing other obits written about Salinger. This article was a waste of time, as is most of your work.
I would rather read The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs than The Catcher in the Rye.
