Actually, Stewart is exactly my vision of Bella, this cartoon looks more like a Jessica……and Edward looks like he is a 12yo

i totally agree with you siobhan

  • couchgrouch

it looks too much like Speed Racer.

I think everyone has there own idea of Bella and Edward should look. I hated the movie and Kristen. She showed no emotion in the movie. My fav charater, Charlie. LOL But oh well just a movie. I agree with you Kristen. As for the graphic novel.. cool concept, i might get it. I hope new moon is a better movie.

I will not buy the graphic novel, and tho I have seen parts of the movie, I do not care to be enthralled in it.
I understand that some people may not have as vivid and active imagination as I. So for them, I guess this may be exciting and helpful. (more power to you!)
Myself, as I read the books, I created my own version of what the characters looked like and, in a sense, produced my own movie in my mind. The actors, tho they may be good, and the drawings, tho they may be talented, compare little to the images I have created on my own.
I applaud the fascination with creating a more visual depiction of the book. However, I choose not to taint the perfect images I have in my mind.
I truly would hope that each one of you (as some apparently already do) could find it in yourselves to imagine the scenario as you see fit. Each person sees things differently, and that is to be rejoiced. Take everything with a grain of salt, and do not stifle your own imaginations from another’s perception.

I love the drawing. I wish that the actors in the movie looked exactly like that :)

Wow’ I’m amazed at how many comments they are and how they all contrast each other. It’s interesting to see what people think, I saw some really good debatable points. Personally I love the Twilight saga, I kinda spoiled it by watching the movie first before reading the books. I must say, it ruined my imagination for the appearance of the characters. But I’m still excited to see how the comic potrays the scenes. Can’t wait!

I agree with you, I’m a twilight BOOK lover, and any drawing is better than RP, the movie sucked. Some people always think only about the movie and they forget the book, wich is way better than the movie and its horrible actors.

I am glad to see independent thinkers here. I love the books but the movie and the actors left much to be desired. Unfortunately New Moon looks to be much of the same. I think anime Twilight is a bad idea. sorry to hear Stephenie doesn’t agree.

I am a total twilight saga fan. The movie was alright and i think that anima is a bad idea for the graphic novel. I’ve read twilight 6 times, new moon 5 times, eclipse 6 times, and breaking dawn 10 times. the movie may have been a little disappointing but it was low budget and had great actors, though i think combining some of the characters is seriously going to mess up the other movies later.

I know the Twilight Saga by heart! Ive read Twilight 21x, New Moon 14x (I don’t really like New Moon Its written great… but just not me. =C ) Eclipse 19x, and Breaking Dawn 20x. I’m still awaiting Midnight Sun =3 and i read the draft with I.D.K 12 chapters? Anyway, I am a book fan FOREVER. The movie sucked! It was like the book, but it missed and messed up a lot of parts like Bella tells Edward in his car that hes a Vampire, and they don’t stop by at the police station. And what was with that kissing! I thought he was being careful! They completely blocked out that meadow part and their first kiss was French Tongue!

I like the way Edward looks. He’s dazzling. Bella on the other hand seems to done up to “pretty”. I have this image of her being naturally beautiful yet plain. Hair in a ponytail, no make-up on, nothing special clothes kinda girl. oh wells

  • kaito

Eh not a fan from the drawing i think i like the japanese version of teh drawings better they make them look more like the character should this looks well to….relistic type…it should look more like a cartoon if they are doing manga version…

  • morgan

they don’t look like anyone. They just look like typical anime people.

  • caravsangel

Wow, a lot of graphic novel haters out there.
Well, for those of you that do not understand that this is another form of art, go on hating. Manga is an art, just as film, music, and text are arts. This i sjust bringing Twlight into a new realm of art. A place Twilight has belonged for a long time. I’d say it was almost meant to be a Manga. I would even look forward to a Twilight anime series some day.

  • Taylor

I think this is a great idea! I’m excited to see how this turns out.

  • SBOSG

I love anything Twi but they could have drawed the characters better, more like the actors not just randomly. Edward is not that buff and bella is not that girly.

  • Dominique

I quite agree with Chaa Cullen, movie was OK but I thought a lot og gooood scenes werent there. I dont like the picture, everyone has own idea of edward, bella etc. I dont think Ill buy it, I prefer “normal” books. Sorry ;)

  • eliana cullen
