I agree. I bought Pride And Prejudice And Zombies and was slightly offended someone would ruin a classic like that….. I can accept zombies, but, ninjas? Really?

I don’t understand people’s idea of a good book. Using someone as prominent an author as Jane Austen to turn her beloved books into garbage is beyond my understanding. I think this author should find a better use of his time; cause what he’s done with these most beloved books, is positively CRAP!

I agree that sea monsters would have worked better with Persuasion, but the title doesn’t have quite the ring to it that, say, “Persuasion and the Predator” might. I can’t wait for the Quirk redo of Persuasion–it’s my favorite of her novels.

Oh for God’s sakes, if you’re going to leave a comment, at least get the author right….. Bronte wrote Wuthering Heights.

I started the book but couldn’t get past the atrocious writing. The cheesy illustrations inside are pretty lame like a home made comic book, no where as good as the elaborate cover art. Reads like some middle schooler’s book report. Cool title though, it’s a good conversation starter.

You need think about it. Despite the emails, the overwhelming evidence showing global warming is happening hasn’t changed.
“The e-mails do nothing to undermine the very strong scientific consensus . . . that tells us the Earth is warming, that warming is largely a result of human activity,” Jane Lubchenco, who heads the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, told a House committee. She said that the e-mails don’t cover data from NOAA and NASA, whose independent climate records show dramatic warming.
