The final installment of Ally Condie’s Matched trilogy won’t be released for another three weeks, but we’ve got an exclusive trailer to tide you over until Nov. 13 finally rolls around.

Told from the perspectives of Cassia, Ky and Xander, Reached picks up right where Crossed left off. After finally reuniting with Ky only to be separated from him anew, Cassia is now living in the capital city Central, working with the Rising from the inside to bring down the Society once and for all. Ky is stationed outside the Society’s borders, serving as a pilot alongside Indie, while Xander has been operating as an undercover official, treating a deadly virus that’s been making its way through the Society. When the plague gets out of hand, and everyone they love is threatened, the three must work together to discover a cure before it’s too late. Watch the trailer below and check back tomorrow for an exclusive excerpt from Reached! READ FULL STORY

'Matched' trilogy by Ally Condie: See the cover and title for the third and final book! Plus, Condie answers burning questions -- EXCLUSIVE

The beautiful covers of Ally Condie’s best-selling Matched books follow a simple progression that reflects the progression of the series. Our heroine Cassia started off on the first cover existing serenely in a glass orb, symbolizing her blissful unawareness of the Society’s oppression. Then on the cover of Crossed, she put her fist through the glass. You’ll have to scroll to the bottom to see what happens next to Cassia’s little color-shifting snow globe.

In addition to giving us the lovely cover, Condie took the time to answer some burning questions about book 3.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: There was a huge, huge bomb dropped about Xander in Crossed. Any chance at redemption in the final book?
ALLY CONDIE: Absolutely. There is always a chance at redemption until the last page…and sometimes even after that!

Whose point of view will we be getting this time? Are you switching it up again?
I am switching it up again, because it’s time for Xander to get to share his story as well. So there are three points of view — Cassia’s, Ky’s, and Xander’s — telling this final installment of the trilogy.

There are still so many mysteries about the Society and the Rising. Will all our questions be answered?
Many of the biggest questions will be answered in this book — but I don’t dare say that they ALL will. But you will certainly find out more about the state of the Society, and what the Rising really is, and what that means for the main characters.

What did it feel like to put a period on the trilogy?
It was both wonderful and a bit sad. Sad because I’m finished with the story for now, and because I will miss these characters and this world. But it also felt very good to write scenes that I’ve pictured writing for several years now (since I began Matched) and to see Cassia, Ky, and Xander all the way through to the finish.

What are you working on now?
Right now I’m working on the final revisions for this final book. But I also have an idea for another novel to begin after I’m finished with revisions.  I’m very excited about the concept and the world and characters. It will be fun to explore something and somewhere new!

Any updates on the movie adaptation?
We are hoping to see a screenplay soon. I can’t wait!

Will you ever return to writing about the Society?
Right now I’m excited about my new idea (and several others), but I would never say never! Cassia, Ky, and Xander’s stories do feel finished to me–not that other things can’t happen to them, but those stories will play out off the page and in the readers’ minds. The books belong to them now.
