Republicans rule 'New York Times' best-seller list

It’s a Red State book bonanza! Sarah Palin’s new book, America by Heart, debuted at No. 2 on the New York Times best-seller list, but failed to dislodge George Bush from the top spot. Decision Points remained No. 1 for the third week in a row, and publisher Random House reports to that they’ve sold 1.5 million total copies of the ex-president’s memoir.

That doesn’t surprise me at all. This country is moving into a conservative era. I’m just hoping it won’t last long but I’ll adjust for the time being.

Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins should be at the top, not these know-nothings!

I agree with Chris we cant live in the conservative past forever. Change no matter how it happens is inevitable. And going into 2011 is not going to be like the 1950’s the Republicans want. They can call us Democrats whatever they want to…in the end, we all know who is right.

    America loves their idiots!

  • Not Moby

I just read somewhere (maybe EW, can’t remember) that The Jersey Shore is one of the highest rated shows ever, so naturally, the above story makes sense.

  • Here & There

America is tired of Obama’s Marxist-Socialist bent. As a moderate Democrat, I’ve had enough. I do not relate to the extreme left as much as I do not relate to the extreme right.

Yeah ok idiot. He’s got a Marxist-Socialist bent. No way you are a moderate democrat, you’re a tea nut in sheep’s clothing you liar. I’m an independant and I think he’s a mediocre president but also hasn’t gotten much time or cooperation. That Marxist-Socialist thing is just ignorant.

Thanks BlackIrish-you beat me to it. Moderate Democrat. Obama himself is a Moderate Democrat. He has both Republicans and Democrats working with him and he and most people would like a bipartisanship so we can quit all this finger pointing and arguing. The right seems to love to argue . Yeah your a wolf saying ” baa”

    • BillyD

My guess is that 90% (or higher) of those who scream “Marxist-Socialist” have absolutely no idea how to accurately define those terms.

      • BINGO

Billy D, you are so right!

The primary reason the Dems lost the midterm elections is because 0bama IS a moderate Democrat. We thought we voted in a progressive but we’ve instead been saddled with a man who foolishly thinks the Repubs are rational beings capable of bipartisanship. They aren’t.

  • Barry

Read it & weep Obama Socialists. Better still, stop drinking the Messiah’s kool-aid.

    • Kevin

Oh I’ll weep alright… I’ll weep for a nation that actually cares what Shrub and Mama Grizzly have to say.

  • ?who?

and country music is the best seller in music so yeah this makes sense
