Image Credit: Sylvain Gaboury/PR PhotosYet another celebrity has joined the chorus of tweets touting The Hunger Games. Tyra Banks, who’s in the midst of writing her own entry into the Western canon, just mentioned that she finished Catching Fire, the second book in Suzanne Collins’ trilogy. How good did she think it was? “Soooooo good!!!” That is especially impressive, since six o’s and three exclamation points is the highest possible score in Tyra’s rating system. (By comparison, she thought Twilight was “Soooo good!!” and she broke with critical consensus by only giving the new Franzen a tepid “Soo good!”)

I love when celebs are so proud of themselves for reading a book, especially one written for teenagers
ummmmm I am 43 and I LOVE this series, and I am quit proud of myself for reading it….I am just happy that a celebrity is promoting reading.
I love when 43 year old football moms are so proud of themselves for reading a book especially one written for teenagers
and not only am I a football mom I am also a children’s Librarian.
Let me guess, you don’t read at all right? I read many types of books, for all ages. There’s nothing wrong reading young adult books–especially a series that takes on such serious and adult themes. The only thing that makes these books young adult are the character’s ages. I can assume then that you only read books about bitter old men?
haha, i actually just finished catching fire too! can’t wait to read mockingjay!!
Prepare to be disappointed.
Agreed. Mockingjay was a letdown. Catching Fire was the best of the three.
Mockingjay IS a letdown.
Mockingjay is not a letdown, at least not to me. It was by far my favorite of the trilogy! And many of my friends agree with me as well. Mockingjay IMHO was the perfect way to end the trilogy!
I’m guessing Tyra probably has an assistant that reads the books to her.
nah she goes to sparknotes lol
LOL @Quirky
I’m only 10 (no joke) and I LOVE this series, however I was extremely disappointed in the end, but who she ended up with was an amazing choice
Haha. I love Tyra.
I LOVE HE SERIES AND I CANT WAIT TILL THE MOVIE
Mockingjay was a little depressing, especially since Finnick and Prim died. However, I did loed how it ended. Compare it to the Ugly Series ending fourth book, and Mockingjay will seem like Heaven!
