Yay!! Journalists who aren’t pushing for Chloe Moretz! Seriously, how could a blonde, pale, 13-year-old play black-haired, olive-skin toned 16-year-old? Although points taken away for having some people that are too old to play teenagers–like Cam and Skeet. But bonus points for having Kaya and Hunter there. Fan favorites, and not very obvious choices.
yeh i never got Chloe Moretz either.. it just makes no sense. i think Alexandra Daddario or Kaya Scodelario
I agree i am a Chloe Fan (Her performance in “let me in” was great Smit Mcphee Aswell) After doing some research on the story and on the main characters she would not be a good choice for the role, Her features do not go with how the Katniss is described in the books, i would hope that they go the unknown route like many are suggesting if not i say go with Kaya.

I really think Katniss should be played by an unknown, but if we have to vote for an already established actor, why not Annasophia Robb. She’s really talented, about the right age and with the right hair dye and makeup she’s probably look the part.

Demi Lovato is a good comedy actress who could maybe pull of drama. but she could never pull of something like Hunger Games. i love her, but just no.
I agree on Kaya to be Katniss but I think Alex Pettyfer should be Peeta.He’s only a little older.(I think.)Hehe.
I think that they need to go outside the box of big names and get an unknown actress for the role of Katniss,although Saoirse Ronan is an awesome actress. William Moseley would make an ok Peeta, Drew Roy looks like how I pictured Gale, Kristen Chenowith should hands down be Effie Trinkett, and I think Viggo Mortensen would make a good Haymitch. As far as President Snow I think you need either Jack Nickelson or Robert DeNiro

Where Chloe Moretz? I like her for Katniss.
Yeah where Chloe Grace Moretz? She was there in previous post. Even if you may not like her, she is 1 of strongest contenders too.
According to whom? Most of the fan-base dislikes her for the role. They want her for Katniss’s younger sister.
The reporters and media are the ones pushing for Chloe, not the fans who will be the ones who make or break box offices sales.
Many of the fans were up in arms when that Chloe Moretz article came out. Chloe is only 13. She’s tiny (short and petite), with a fair-complexion, squeaky voice, and blonde. She’s, by far, not a fan-favotire for Katniss. Yes, she can act, but she’s not at all right for the role. Put her as Prim, even though I think that even Elle Fanning fits that role better.
I hope to God that she’s not. I seriously can’t even begin to imagine how ANYONE who has read the books could think Chloe would work. She’s too young. Too pale. Too short. I think the idea came up just because of her role in Kick-Ass, but she’s not right at all.
Media & journalist pushing for Chloe because her acting is GREAT. They know she has the chops for both drama & action roles. They see past age & looks for talent.
Hunter Parrish NEEDS to be Peeta. He’s perfect!
