Snore. How many times can the same thing be said over and over and over? If you’re going with a graphic novel, advance the story, don’t just tell the exact thing over again. It’s just lazy and a way to make new bucks with an old story.

Twilight fans have such low standards anymore that they’ll buy anything with the logo on it. Seriously. If they had any self-respect they’d demand something new, not keep buying special editions and graphic novels and feeding Meyer’s already-bloated ego by begging her to release Midnight Sun, which she’s holding hostage and is in and of itself just a mirror of Twilight (i.e. nothing really new, just Edward’s angst).

Wow-the book looks amzazing. Even though it’s condensed it really seems to capture the emotions of the story.
The argument that from Lindsey saying that even a 2nd grader can understand the books is not the point of “understanding ” the books. As in getting the point and the message and why they are as popular as they are.

      I agree with you Joscelyn

dont any of you people have any idea this is great news the book came before the movie so dont act like the movie is any better than the book and if u belive that this is a yawn you are not a real fan of the twilight saga

  • amberm

it’s actually called “Midnight Sun” is Edward’s pov that she hasn’t finished yet.

  • tricia

Your all wrong (rising sun) it’s MIDNIGHT SUN (edwards version of twilight)

  • Meredith

why does it say volume 1? is it because it’s the first book?

    • arisu

i’d be surprised if volume 1 covers all of the first book. they’ll probably break it up into a few manga volumes per novel.

    • SukiYo1910

Yes…because OBVIOUSLY the can’t fit all four books into one graphic novel. Honestly, who DOESN’T know what “volume 1″ would stand for?

  • Lindo

Twilight from Edward’s perspective is called Midnight Sun, not Rising Sun. Would love to see that one finished! It’s even better than Twilight from what I’ve read of it on Stephenie Meyer’s website. I’m looking forward to the graphic novel. I’ve never been a graphic novel fan really, but it will be nice to see the story without the faces of the stars of the movie burned in my mind. Not that I have anything against them or the movie. I am just looking forward to seeing a fresh perspective. I am sure this graphic noviel will eventually become quite a collector’s item, too.

You guys must mean Midnight Sun.

  • jogirl

It’s Midnight Sun not Rising Sun!!
Get it right! Personally, I love Kristin and Robert as Bella and Edward and if you don’t agree I really don’t care:)

  • WTF

Sound of gunshot; thud of body hitting the floor. Peace at last.

    • Ang

      Amen to that…

  • luckystarr

    so excited! can’t wait!

  • Crissy

The “fifth” book is titled Midnight Sun, last update on her website lead me to believe she was going start it soon.

    • Samantha

No, your heroine bailed on Midnight Sun when it was leaked and like a spoiled toddler throwing a tantrum, she refuses to finish it.
